BioP@CompMech can take advantage of various equipment including:

  • A testing machine (tension and compression) for characterizing biomaterials.

  • Two HPC clusters and a computational server dedicated to numerical simulations.

  • Two CELLINK INKREDIBLE+ bioplotter, one located at the Experimental Surgery Lab, and the other one at the Regenerative Medicine Lab, both at the University of Pavia. The INKREDIBLE+ is a pneumatic-based extrusion 3D bioplotter with dual heated printheads and UV LED curing system (365nm, 405 nm) for crosslinking the 3D printed constructs. It is equipped with a patented Clean Chamber Technology and HEPA filtered positive air pressure inside the printing chamber. The printer offers the possibility to print different materials: hydrogel and thermoplastic (e.g. PCL).
